How to publish on the Web
This Web is for participants in the optional module Web Publishing and in the ePICT education. This is the studying support, the methodical material, a motivating Web site for your pages and the help for all beginners too, of course. Single hypertext links are the answers for your questions, I hope.
The pages are validated and they use basic possibilities of Cascading Style Sheets. There is short information about JavaScripts too, but I don´t use them too much. I think, the Web can be nice and useful without them, too.
Chytrak Tim´s construction site is about providing information. Accordingly the design can appeared simple and poor. I have been using some basic and safe colours only. The reason is described in the chapter about CSS.
I´ve been using the Golden HTML Editor for Web design (Czech product). This program is freeware, very useful and easy for everyone. Sometimes I use The BlueFish, the software from the Linux Mandrake platform (KDE).
Pictures and photos have been modifited in IrfanView software and The Gimp. The CSS could be made by whatever free software.
The Webdesigner´s work is very open and free. You can use freeware programs without licence software for a
beautiful and useful Web site.
